The learning
Since vehicle developers change their suppliers from time to time, it can happen that different control devices are
used for the locking systems even for the same model. Try the methods one at a time. If it doesn't work out on the
first day, don't despair. Try again the next day, but start with the second method. After a certain number of
attempts, a “learning lock” is activated, similar to car radios. Then nothing works anymore.
Foreign keys
Learning other people's keys may be possible if you have a two-part key. Then you can use the remote control for the
central locking from another car and place it on your key. You cannot program the key part with the transponder from
another car because the transponder is in it.-> The transponder is the chip for the immobilizer. It usually has a
rectangular or cylindrical shape and is covered in either plastic or glass and sits somewhere in the key housing. You
can only have a copy of your transponder made by the locksmith if you have old keys. Unfortunately, this is not
possible with modern transponders because they work with a changing code. Worn or broken keys If your key is
scratched or broken, you do not need to purchase a complete key from the dealer. This sometimes costs up to several
hundred euros. Most of the time it is enough to replace the housing or keypad. Then no coding is necessary
Tips
Make sure you are using a working key. If necessary, open the key and check whether the soldering points on the
circuit board are OK and whether the buttons are in contact. It is also recommended to clean the circuit board in the
key housing with ethyl alcohol and a brush. The conductor tracks and SMD components can corrode over time and hinder
the flow of current. Another possible source of error is a weak battery, both in the remote control and in the car.
Both must be sufficiently charged for smooth communication. Both batteries in the remote control should be full and
both from the same manufacturer. If you want to use several handheld transmitters for one vehicle, you must repeat
the steps for each transmitter. Otherwise only one always works. Wait 2-3 minutes between methods!
Audi
Method 1 (1) Insert the key to be learned into the ignition lock and switch on the ignition. (2) Then press “lock” on
the inserted key until the car locks. It locks briefly, but opens again immediately. (3) Done. You don't need a
second key.
Method 2 (1) Lock and unlock the vehicle by manually locking and unlocking within 30 seconds using the key to be
learned via the driver's door lock.
Method 3 (1) Insert the key that has been trained into the ignition lock and turn the ignition on... (2) Insert the
key to be trained into the driver's door lock... (door must be closed) (3) Lock mechanically with the key and hold...

After the last digit, the LED lights up for 10 seconds if the code was entered correctly.
While the LED is lit, press and hold the button.
Now press a button on the remote control.
Release both buttons.
Repeat the steps for each handheld transmitter.

Switch on ignition.
Press the close and open buttons on the remote control for 10 seconds.

Wait until the LED goes out.

Turn off the ignition and press the ZV button until the ZV locks once and opens again
Then point the transmitter towards the receiver and press the button, repeating first one then the other if
necessary
The channels should then be read in and working.

Press and hold the central locking button in the vehicle for at least 2 seconds.
Doors must lock and then unlock on their own.
Immobilizer LED lights up.
Press the lock/unlock button on each handheld transmitter once in succession.

Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
Press the central locking button in the headliner and keep it pressed until the central locking closes and opens
once.
Point the key at the receiver in the headliner and press the key button. Central locking closes.
Repeat the last step for a second key.
Wait 3 seconds.
Try if it works.

Briefly release the button and continue with the next digit up to the fourth
Turn off the ignition and press the ZV button until the ZV locks once and opens again
Then point the transmitter towards the receiver and press the button, repeating first one then the other if
necessary
The channels should then be read in and working.

Press and hold the central locking button in the vehicle for at least 2 seconds.
Doors must lock and then unlock on their own.
Immobilizer LED lights up.

Let the WFS lamp flash as often as the first digit of the WFS code is large and then release the button.
Press the button again and hold it down until the WFS light flashes the same number of times as the 2nd
digit of the code. Release the button.
Press the button again and hold it down until the WFS light flashes the same number of times as the 3rd
digit of the code. Release the button.
Press the button again and hold it until the WFS light flashes the same number of times as the 4th digit of
the code. Release the button.
Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
Press the central locking button in the headliner and keep it pressed until the central locking closes and opens
once.
Point the key at the receiver in the headliner and press the key button. Central locking closes.
Repeat the last step for a second key.
Wait 3 seconds.
Try if it works.

seconds the system at least takes over the key that worked during synchronization....
